Link from LinkRef?

Is there an easy way to get the Link associated with a given LinkRef for an incoming link to some object o in the current module?

Alternatively, can I convert a Link to a LinkRef somehow?

I have already used  "for srcModRef in each(o <- (linkModName)) do  ..." to open the requisite source modules, and now I want to skip over echo links, hence the question: for inlinks, bool echo() requires a LinkRef argument!
